Lars Jannick Johansen is the founder (with TrygFonden) of Den Sociale Kapitalfond (The Social Capital Fund): The Copenhagen-based, Scandinavian impact investment fund and accelerator for social businesses that improve opportunities for marginalized groups in society. Lars is a board member of the fund and Managing Partner of its impact investing arm, Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest.

Previously, he was Director of the Scandinavian think tank Monday Morning and Development Director of the world’s largest design prize, INDEX: Awards, among others. He is a member of the Danish Government's Forum for Social Responsibility and Growth; The Climate Council of the City of Copenhagen; The Advisory Board to Fine Acts; and others.

Lars is MA in Political Science, University of Copenhagen, and MA in Central and East European Studies, UCL, with executive education from Wharton Business School and Saïd Business School. He is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum since 2013. Lars is passionate about improving opportunities for marginalized groups, developing social businesses, and creating more inclusive societies.
