Art can change climate change. We worked with a group of prominent artists to create ten public artworks on the topic of climate change, аll launching on 10.10.2020, in ten cities around the world.

This art action is part of Countdown TED’s global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis.

All participating artists are part of the TED Fellows program that celebrates and uplifts exceptional talent in various fields. The artists have been specifically selected to participate in this global creative activation to translate key climate issues in ways that spur imaginations and trigger participation.

The global art action is a collaboration between Countdown and us at Fine Acts. Fine Acts (also led by a TED Senior Fellow) curated and produced the collection.

Countdown – collaboration with Community Arts Network – will be working throughout the year on a variety of projects at the intersection of climate change and the arts / media. Find the initial ones listed on the Countdown website – and keep an eye for our next exciting collaboration coming later in 2020.

Art has the opportunity to bring this important conversation to new audiences and to make people think about the issue in new ways. We can change climate change… each of these public artworks invites people to learn more about climate change and participate in building a better future.
